Dawgz & Stripes training has been the best investment I've made in my hound herd ever. I'm a very experienced Boxer owner, but needed some extra help with my young and motley crew. Manny was so helpful in arranging a trainer that was local to me. Leo and his family were amazing! I felt so much more at ease knowing my pups were actually in a home and not isolated in a commercial kennel setting. My dogs came home with the same exhuberance, but so much more calm on a leash and in public settings. Recently took my girl to our local airport for a training test run. Because of the Dawgz & Stripe training and my home follow-up, Jelly Bean did an amazing job with all sorts of new situations including sliding doors, people and car traffic, even riding a bus! We sent our dog Lucy to train with Kristi for four weeks. Lucy is a very sweet, high energy, exuberant and sometimes aggressive dog. Partly her breed, partly her puppyhood and partly just her personality. Agression has occurred mostly with me, her mom. We have spent quite a bit of money training Lucy before this with other trainers. Kristi by far has given us the best tools as to how to work with her to receive positive results. She is training us, as well as Lucy. Probably more us! Lucy is still very much a work in progress but I feel Kristi is giving us the best chance to turn her around. She is very tuned in to the dog and has a common sense approach to the training. And it is clear she loves what she is doing. I highly recommend her.

I had never owned a pet before, so I made many mistakes with my new puppy, which unfortunately created bad habits for us.
I knew that I had to find professional help because I did not want to have uncorrectable behavioral problems with my puppy once she became an adult.
I was hesitant about the Board & Train program for my puppy, so I began with One-to-One In-Home sessions. After meeting Kristi for the first session, I knew I wanted to enroll my pup in the (Board & Train) program with her. Her patience with us convinced me to sign up.
I was very anxious and nervous when my pup left for the program, so I messaged Kristi A LOT, and she was so understanding. I got updates on my pup daily, allowing me to watch her progress, too.
When Sadie (my pup) returned, I could not believe the difference in her behavior in just three weeks.
Kristi instilled the foundation she needed to improve her behavior, and now, I am working on reinforcing that foundation.
Kristi has given me the tools I need to create an excellent relationship with my puppy, and I am so grateful for that.

What a wonderful experience . I will be honest, at first I was nervous allowing my dog to go stay with someone I never met for 3 week. After meeting Kristi you knew right away this was a real dog trainer with a lot of experience . Throughout our pups stay she was always in contact sending following up videos of how he is doing , and also sent many videos on how to do commands that we will be using to help us keep up with his training.
His sit, down, come and stay commands are such a difference compared to when he first left. The tough guy attitude around our smaller dog and cats have changed and pays no attention to them, and if he does he’s a polite boy now.
I would highly recommend if you really want your pup to get into good habits early.

Dawgz and Stripes is a god send for training your dog. From the very first contact Frank and Manny were so professional and thorough. Manny was my puppy’s trainer and I was so impressed by his level of knowledge related to handling and training dogs. Manny communicates progress very well and manages expectations the entire time he spent with Gamble. Gamble is less than 6 months old and it’s amazing what Manny has been able to teach him! And this is only the beginning as I know Gamble will develop more as he gets older and I would not hesitate at all taking him back to Manny for further training. Dawgz & Stripes did wonders for our energetic goldendoodle went from a mouthy, excitable and behavior problem puppy to a well-behaved dog with confidence. Kristi taught us how to bring out the best in our dog. We had no idea how much potential he had! As owners, we were taught how to solve behavior problems by breaking down training into mini-steps. Our dog absolutely loved the boarding classes and we’re not sure who learned more, he or us!

Over the years I have had the distinct pleasure of working with many great professionals in the working dog world. However, Frank is one of the absolute best professionals & behavioralists I’ve been able to work with! He really knows dog psychology & is proactive in his approach in working with troubled dogs. I absolutely love the fact that he takes the time to discover why the dog is behaving the way it is. Rather than the quick fix shock & bark collar methods. He believes without truly understanding the dog behaviors & its tied previous life experiences there’s no authentic way of resolving the present behavior. He truly is a class act. Frank, we had our final meeting with Kristi. I am very happy and hopeful. I feel we have the tools we need to proceed. I've had my dog back for just a few days but already noticed some pretty big changes. She's a better listener and my biggest concern with her not being well crate trained (since I live in a quiet apartment complex) has been totally resolved. She does not bark or whine in her crate anymore which is such a relief. Kristi is wonderful to work with and so knowledgable about dogs. I love her approach and that the training is sustainable for me to continue at home. I had a lot of anxiety before I made the decision to send my pup to be trained with Dawgz and Stripes but I am SO glad I did. Theres just WAY too much information out there on how to best train your dog so this was really good for us to get on the same page and set me and my pup up for success moving forward. Can't say enough good things!

Manny has worked wonders with our 8 month old Doberman puppy. He was out of control, counter surfing, jumping all over the furniture, just being really naughty 24/7. We had a great experience with Frank and Kristi for the training of Clutch our Mini Aussie. It’s our 1st puppy and we weren’t sure how to go by the entire process but Frank and Kristi made us feel very confortable. Clutch stayed full time with Kristi for 3 full weeks and she came back transformed in a positive way. She needed guidance to be more obedience. We were at 1st concerned to have to let Clutch for 3 weeks but it was worth it. Kristi was communicative with us and kept sending us video to update us on Clutch well being and progresses. Kristi changed my dog's life. I have a large dog 100LB+ who is insecure and aggressive. In 4 weeks, Kristi completely got him back on track and he is now a different dog. I have my work set out for me, but I could never imagine Leo would be doing so well. The constant teaching videos and watching him grow was amazing for me and my girls to observe. I am super pleased with Manny and his wife (the ultimate photographer) for working with my German Shepard (Kodi). Manny is very professional and knowledgeable. I plan on returning Kodi in 30 days for more advanced training. Manny will send videos while your dog is in training; showing you the dog’s progress, as well as, providing educational tools for you, as the owner of the dog, to practice while the dog is in training. I highly recommend Dawgz & Stripes! Manny is an amazing trainer! He trained my Malinois in basic obedience, advanced obedience and protection. I absolutely enjoy the connection I have with my dog! She is so well behaved I can take her anywhere with no worries. I have traveled with her across the country, hiked mountains, gone into pet friendly stores and restaurants never having a problem. That being said she has stopped several threats and has kept me safe. Manny also trained my Boston Terrier through advanced obedience. Just wanna write this quick review, but I was really satisfied with Manny & his wife, they took really good care of my pups while training them for over 3 months. They’re very communicative & good @ answering any questions or regards I had. Overall loved the service. I have two English bulldogs I’m gonna take after getting my bully’s back!!

I adopted an American Bully which was rescued from an illegal dog fight ring, due to this background she is very aggressive to other dogs and also humans that she doesn’t know. It was to a point that I couldn’t even take her out for a walk or have friends visiting. I tried several dog trainers but the result was not that great. I came across Manny and decided to give it one last try. Two weeks of board and train, my dog came back completely different. Manny is very professional and knowledgeable, he taught me how to work with my dog and he is very patient. Most importantly, he does this not as a job, he actually have the passion and love for these dogs, my dog is always happy seeing him and this says a lot. If you want the best trainer, look nowhere else, here is the one right here

If there were more stars I would give more. Our family is eternally grateful for Dawgs & Stripes. They helped pick out our lovely puppy from a litter based on temperament we wanted. The. They helped train her to an angel and protector. Thanks to them our infant has a best friend and protector. We can take our sweet angel of a dog to any restaurant, shop or grocery store with no issues and she is super obedient and is the envy of our entire neighborhood. If you have a dog with behavioral issues, or obedience training for a puppy to set up a solid foundation I would strongly recommend them and all my neighbors that I’ve referred have been beyond pleased. Manny took our tough to learn puppy Moose, and effectively trained him into obedience. Manny also took his time and always kept us connected throughout the whole process allowing us to be extremely confident in the training that was being done. He went above and beyond in showing us how to maintain those commands and how to continue discipline with Moose. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially with a stubborn puppy

Absolutely amazing! We have been able to notice such a huge difference with our rescue. Manny is extremely knowledgeable in how to handle every dog and their own special needs that he trains. Our rescue Clifford has had a traumatic past that led him to be extremely frightful. I deeply appreciate how the staff at Dawgs & Stripes really came through for me and Hermione in a time of need. When my plans to leave Hermione with trusted friends fell through, I had to find a last minute board and train to leave my girl with trusted professionals. Frank helped set up a program for me and assigned Kristi as our trainer. They both were quick in their responses and generous with their accessibility in such a short period of time. I learned a lot about how to better communicate with Hermione in ways that now seem so obvious and simple. Of course Hermione and I still have a lot and consistent work to do because everyday is new but Kristi the trainer really helped set a solid foundation. She was very thorough with her end of training summary and with providing us with tools that we will need to continue working towards a better relationship. Hermione and I now have a lot more playtime than before and I am so thankful to have pursued this experience. In addition, this experience has opened my mind to ways in which I can enhance my doggo’s life. Not only in training and at home but with resources like doggy daycare as well as informed observation on the character of different/individual dogs. I feel that I will definitely come back to Dawgs and Stripes to utilize the resources that they offer and for future consults and advise if and when I were to decide to bring another dog into our lives. *Picture of Hermione in the bathtub.* Hermione hates showers and it used to take a long to convince her to hop into the tub by herself. I’d even need to pick her up and place her in there myself… She still gets antsy when the water is running (she doesn’t even like the rain) but every week at shower time she is more confident to hop into the tub herself. Grooming has become easier with the new level of communication that we have and that’s one of the things that I have been really excited about.

However, Frank is one of the absolute best professionals & behavioralists I’ve been able to work with! He really knows dog psychology & is proactive in his approach in working with troubled dogs. I absolutely love the fact that he takes the time to discover why the dog is behaving the way it is. Rather than the quick fix shock & bark collar methods. He believes without truly understanding the dog behaviors & its tied previous life experiences there’s no authentic way of resolving the present behavior. He truly is a class act. He’s not only about the dog but also the person & family as well. I highly recommend their training!

Frank, we had our final meeting with Kristi. I am very happy and hopeful. I feel we have the tools we need to proceed. It will require some concentrated effort on our part but the rewards are worth it. We missed her and are so happy to have her home. Kristi has been great and very responsive. We couldn't be happier.

I've had my dog back for just a few days but already noticed some pretty big changes. She's a better listener and my biggest concern with her not being well crate trained (since I live in a quiet apartment complex) has been totally resolved. She does not bark or whine in her crate anymore which is such a relief. Kristi is wonderful to work with and so knowledgable about dogs. I love her approach and that the training is sustainable for me to continue at home. I had a lot of anxiety before I made the decision to send my pup to be trained with Dawgz and Stripes but I am SO glad I did. Theres just WAY too much information out there on how to best train your dog so this was really good for us to get on the same page and set me and my pup up for success moving forward. Can't say enough good things!

Manny has worked wonders with our 8 month old Doberman puppy. He was out of control, counter surfing, jumping all over the furniture, just being really naughty 24/7. Now he's a joy to be around, super well-behaved, much more calm and has mastered basic obedience. I can't recommend Manny highly enough!

I have had the pleasure of having Manny train my Belgian Malinois. From the first day speaking with him you can hear the passion and love he has for these amazing animals. Speaks so highly of them, they are the best companions! So smart and high energy and super loyal. We had a great experience with Frank and Kristi for the training of Clutch our Mini Aussie. It’s our 1st puppy and we weren’t sure how to go by the entire process but Frank and Kristi made us feel very confortable. Clutch stayed full time with Kristi for 3 full weeks and she came back transformed in a positive way. She needed guidance to be more obedience. We were at 1st concerned to have to let Clutch for 3 weeks but it was worth it. Kristi was communicative with us and kept sending us video to update us on Clutch well being and progresses. Kristi changed my dog's life. I have a large dog 100LB+ who is insecure and aggressive. In 4 weeks, Kristi completely got him back on track and he is now a different dog. I have my work set out for me, but I could never imagine Leo would be doing so well. The constant teaching videos and watching him grow was amazing for me and my girls to observe. I very much trust Kristi and highly recommend her. Frank was very helpful when I was coordinating the 4-week training. At that time, I was very upset with my dog's behavior. Manny is an excellent dog trainer. Our Doberman is now able to walk a whole lot better when he goes on walks with my husband and she listens to the commands that were taught to her by Manny. I am super pleased with Manny and his wife (the ultimate photographer) for working with my German Shepard (Kodi). Manny is very professional and knowledgeable. I plan on returning Kodi in 30 days for more advanced training. Manny will send videos while your dog is in training; showing you the dog’s progress, as well as, providing educational tools for you, as the owner of the dog, to practice while the dog is in training. I have homework as well during this 30 day, at home, training cycle. I’m very grateful and highly recommend Manny as a dog training expert. Kodi Blue (code blue) will see you in 30 days. I highly recommend Dawgz & Stripes! Manny is an amazing trainer! He trained my Malinois in basic obedience, advanced obedience and protection. I absolutely enjoy the connection I have with my dog! She is so well behaved I can take her anywhere with no worries. I have traveled with her across the country, hiked mountains, gone into pet friendly stores and restaurants never having a problem. That being said she has stopped several threats and has kept me safe. Manny also trained my Boston Terrier through advanced obedience. I adopted an American Bully which was rescued from an illegal dog fight ring, due to this background she is very aggressive to other dogs and also humans that she doesn’t know. It was to a point that I couldn’t even take her out for a walk or have friends visiting. I tried several dog trainers but the result was not that great. I came across Manny and decided to give it one last try. Two weeks of board and train, my dog came back completely different. Manny is very professional and knowledgeable, he taught me how to work with my dog and he is very patient. Most importantly, he does this not as a job, he actually have the passion and love for these dogs, my dog is always happy seeing him and this says a lot.
